TERMS & CONDITIONS for janGles scotland stationery &  purchases made at our online store www.janglesscotland.co.uk

The customer is anyone making a purchase from janGles scotland or online at www.janglesscotland.co.uk.

By making a purchase the customer is accepting the terms & conditions as stated on this page.  

Maximum order of any sample is 1  of an individual design, with a maximum of 5 different designs  being  ordered at any one time.

Prior to any order going to print the customer will be provided with a full text & layout proof for each stationery line.  It is the customers responsibility to ensure the content is fully correct prior to signing in acceptance. Jangles scotland will not be held responsible for any errors noticed by the customer that were signed off as accepted at the proofing stage.

Should a particular item be unavailable Jangles Scotland will notify the customer  and an alternative selection or refund will be offered.

Payment will be acceptable by way of cheque (once funds have cleared), a bank transfer or by Paypal.  For personalised stationery orders  a 50% deposit is required at the time of order,  with the balance being due and payable once proofs have been accepted by the customer.  On orders for other items such as albums and samples, payment of cleared funds is required prior to despatch.

As the stationery is all personalised janGles scotland will not be held responsible for any refunds unless the items are faulty or do not meet the requirements of the original order.

Upon delivery the customer is required to check the order received and contact janGles scotland with any shortage, damage or discrepancies within no more that 5 days of receipt of the order.  As all items are handmade and every item is unique it is suggested that if you are unsure about the item being ordered, a sample should be obtained prior to placing the order. The customer shall take the goods at her/his own risk as to their corresponding with such an example as to their quality condition of sufficiency for specific purpose the extent allowable under the sale of goods act 1979.  Once delivered the goods become the responsibility of the customer and janGles scotland cannot be held responsible for damage or loss caused after this time.  If janGles scotland have dispatched the items as agreed we cannot be held responsible for the customers failure to take delivery.

Prices quoted  do not include delivery charges.   We can post worldwide, please contact us for shipping costs.

JanGles scotland cannot be held responsible for any delay in supplying any order due to events outwith our control these event are as below:

Act of God, explosion, flood tempest, fire or accident :War or threat of war, sabotage, insurrection, civil disturbance or requisition. :Acts, restrictions, regulations, bye-laws, prohibitions or measures of any kind on the part of governmental, parliamentary or local authority :Import or export regulations or embargoes :Strikes, lock-outs or any other industrial actions or trade disputes :Difficulties in obtaining raw materials, labour, fuel, parts or machinery. :Power failure or breakdown in machinery

This privacy policy is written to confirm how we will manage and treat your personal information. 

When you contact us via email to request  information, discuss an order or make a general email enquiry, we may retain your details for the purposes of dealing with your enquiry or processing your request or order. Where you make specific comments we may use this information, but not your personal information, in the content of  our website.

By providing this information you are consenting to its use in accordance with our privacy policy. We  do collect information regarding visitors to our site for statistic purposes only and your personal information will not be used for this purpose.

We will only use your personal details to answer your online enquiry, process your order or send you the information that you have requested.   We will not knowingly pass your information to any third party for any purpose unless it is directly related to and required for the purposes of your order.

We may alter this statement at any time, without any prior notice. If we are requested by the police or any other governing authority to provide any of your personal information then we shall so do without delay.
